Treatment Schedule

Initial consultation – 45 minutes

Your doctor will spend time taking a comprehensive medical history and understanding your symptoms. Blood tests and other appropriate tests will be organised in order to give the doctor a full picture of your hormonal health.

1 week later

First follow-up appointment – 15/30 mins
You will return to the Clinic to review your test results and receive a personalised treatment plan, including a prescription for medicine, created specifically for you.

3 months later – 15/30 mins

At this stage, we will again review your progress and will issue repeat or updated prescriptions as required.

6 months later – 30 mins

It is important to have a full progress and health review in order to plan your treatment for the following six months and ensure that it wholly fits your needs. Further tests may be needed and prescriptions will be issued as appropriate.

Ongoing reviews

You will be required to have a review every six months whilst undergoing treatment.

Telephone consultations

We encourage all patients to attend in person, however we do understand that in some circumstances this may not be possible. In these instances we can offer a follow-up appointment by telephone or Skype. In order to organise a telephone consultation, simply contact the Clinic and we will provide you with a dedicated phone number that you can call at the time of your appointment.

Further examinations

Most patients are required to have further annual examinations. These may include:

  • Pelvic ultrasound to assess the health of the ovaries and womb
  • Mammogram to assess the health of breast tissue
  • DEXA scan to assess bone density.

If required, referrals can be made on your behalf to specialist practices, all of which will deliver a high quality service at an acceptable price.
